Richard Strobridge, Chief Executive Officer

Richard Strobridge is recognized expert in healthcare information technology, medical imaging systems, and medical technology integration. Throughout his career he has specialized in healthcare delivery and organizational process improvement through the use of telecommunications and information technology.

Strobridge is a pioneer in integrated voice/video/data networking, videoconferencing and distance learning. He implemented some of the first video networks in the U.S. and his career includes many firsts in the video networking field such as the first high speed multipoint still image delivery system, the first VSAT satellite-based videoconferencing system, the first compressed motion video arraignment system and the first OR to OR surgical training system.

Strobridge’s career includes ten years at SAIC, the FORTUNE 500 scientific, engineering, and technology applications company where he built SAIC’s Telecommunication Systems Operation. Following SAIC, Strobridge founded Tele-Images Inc., a systems integration company. Tele-Images has a wide variety of customers including Hewlett Packard, the U.S. Navy, California State University and Bank of America.

In 1998, Strobridge co-founded Infomedix Communications Corporation, which was acquired by Stryker Corporation (NYSE: SYK) in 1999 and is now the Stryker Communications Division. Stryker Communications has integrated more than 3,000 operating rooms in 300 facilities worldwide.

In 2004, Strobridge founded Healthcare Technology Corporation (HealthcareTec). HealthcareTec’s objective was to continue the development of innovative operating room designs to provide safer and more efficient surgeries. Strobridge is a graduate of Colgate University in New York.

John Hendel, Co-Founder and Chairman

John Hendel co-founded Entra Health Systems in 2002 to develop its core technologies. He manages market growth opportunities and global relations.

Prior to Entra Health, Hendel served as Senior VP of Yollo Inc. a telephone communications services company. He spent 2 years working in Europe developing relationships in the major communications and financial firms and firms for Yollo.

Hendel was co-founder and managing director of PhotoTrend, a market leading imaging firm in Southern California. The company enjoyed double-digit growth for the 12 consecutive years under Hendel’s leadership before being acquired by a subsidiary of Eastman Kodak.

Prior to PhotoTrend, Hendel founded H&K Marketing, a communications firm that was sold to a fortune 1000 firm.

Hendel has served on the board of 7 start-up firms and 2 non-profit organizations.

Larry Mahar, Chief Technology Officer

Larry Mahar has over 25 years of corporate and entrepreneurial experience in a wide range the software and technology enterprises. Prior to joining Entra Health Systems, Mahar served as the President and Founder of TouchTrak where he was the chief architect of the TouchTrak self-service healthcare solutions. He served as the Chief Technology Officer and Founder of Trinity Learning Inc’s Subsidiary, TouchVision, Inc. where he was responsible for the continued development of existing and new healthcare and education self-service software solutions. Mahar developed technology used in automated self-service patient services using touch screen kiosks and wireless PC tablets and the Internet.

Mahar previously served in executive positions including Sr. Director of research at The Earth Technology Corporation (a Tyco Company), and President and co-Founder of Ecotek Technology Solutions, in addition to being senior technology advisor for PatienTrak, Inc, Radius Wellcare, and Seepoint.

He holds a Master’s Degree in Engineering from Michigan State University.

Bruce Ahern, Chief Marketing Officer

Bruce Ahern has extensive experience in high-level marketing strategy and implementation within the technology, biomedical and healthcare industries.

Most recently, Ahern helped found and manage Phoenix Outdoor, a wilderness treatment program for troubled teens. Phoenix Outdoor was sold in 2007 to CRC Health.

Before Phoenix, Ahern ran a consulting organization that worked with corporate management to develop and implement strategic communication, investor relations, corporate image building and product/service marketing programs.

Prior to founding the publishing company, Ahern managed marketing programs for two of the largest independent, technology firms in San Diego, Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) and Cubic Corporation. Ahern has a degree in Marketing/Advertising from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia.

For ten years, Bruce Ahern was the founder and President of the Technology Directory Publishing Company in San Diego, California. The Technology Directory researched and produced periodicals on the regional high technology, and biotechnology/biomedical industries. Ahern sold the company in the late 90’s.

Michele Skibsted, Director of Clinical Affairs

Michel Skibsted is an experienced technical support and customer education representative within the medical, surgical and healthcare industry. She is responsible for implanting the diabetic customer trials for MyGlucoHealth products. Skibsted has personal experience living with diabetes with family members having both type 1 and type 2 diabetics

Prior to Entra Health Systems, Skibsted supported the implementation of surgical navigation systems for Stryker Corporation throughout Western Canada. She provided sales support and operating room case coverage for Neuro and ENT navigation. For US Surgical, she was responsible for introducing new clinical technology into hospitals and managed their introduction into the operating room.

Bianca Christenson, VP of Payors

Bianca Christenson manages Entra Health Systems’ Payor Network. She is responsible for determining and implementing the strategy for Medicare, Medicaid and commercial reimbursement. In addition, Christenson coordinates the company’s accreditation and audits.

Christenson has extensive experience in healthcare technology and healthcare services. Prior to Entra Health, Christenson was a Hospital Administrator at a 400-bed, full-service, acute care facility located in Orange County. She also worked at UCSF Medical Center in an operations role and as a consultant for Booz Allen Hamilton.

Christenson holds a Master’s in Business Administration from Stanford University, a Master’s in Public Health from Columbia University and a BA from University of California.

Carlos Gonzalez, VP Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs

Carlos Gonzalez, has over 35 years experience in the medical device industry including roles in engineering, operations, quality and regulatory affairs. 

Gonzalez served in engineering and quality in high-volume medical device production at Baxter, as well as operational roles in biologics at Alpha Therapeutics. 

Prior to joining Entra Health Systems Gonzalez served as Vice President of Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance for Stryker Endoscopy, a division of Stryker Corp., where he focused on high-tech electro-mechanical device production.  He holds a Masters in Engineering from Cal Poly Pomona and has completed the Gallup Institute Leadership training and Strategic Planning Program provided by the Harvard School of Business.
